Lebanon is a country that lacks democracy and is suffering from many problems such as corruption in its public sector enabling leaders to benefit at the expense of the public good. This corruption is one of the obstacles that are hindering the exploration of our natural ressources. Lebanese citizens are not properly represented in the government due to obsolete electoral laws and legislations. These laws are increasing gender inequality and discrimination influenced by the historical and structural power imbalances between women and men. "Corruption is the enemy of development and of good governance. It must be got rid of. Both the government and the people at large must come together to achieve this national objective." I ,Karen Rizkallah ,want to represent you to make a change where Lebanon will become a better place to live in by engaging youth in electoral life enabling them to explore natural ressources and update legislations and laws for a better country. Vote for me and I will support you.
